The production company "Ivanovskiy melanjeviy combinate" offers fabrics of its own production for sewing branded, special and corporate clothing. The plant produces more than 50 types of fabric with various characteristics: protection from water, rain and wind, oil and petroleum products, general industrial pollution, fire-resistant finish, as well as acid-repellent impregnation. Fabrics are used in the manufacture of workwear for employees of the energy, oil and gas industry, military personnel and security structures.
"The basis of our assortment is made up of anti–acid, flame-retardant, oil-repellent fabrics," says Natalia Fomina, the company's manager. – We also produce fabrics with antistatic threads. The most in demand are fire–resistant fabrics that protect against sparks, antistatic fabrics - we supply them to Transneft; anti-acid fabrics are required in various laboratories. This year has turned out to be difficult, but we are coping. Our chemical suppliers have changed. We used to buy it in Europe, but now we have reoriented to the Indian market. We are undergoing a grand modernization. Now we are completely re-equipping the finishing shop, and earlier we re-equipped the weaving shops. This will give us the opportunity to produce more products of higher quality. In addition, we will be able to process other types of raw materials. If we produce cotton and polyester now, then after the conversion we will be able to produce viscose. This will allow us to enter a new market for us, to occupy new niches.
A permanent exhibitor of the INTERFABRIC exhibition, Ivanovskiy melanjeviy combinate will become one of the main exhibitors of the new specialized exhibition "TECHNICAL TEXTILES-2024.Spring", which will be held simultaneously – from March 11 to 13, 2024 – and on the same site with the INTERFABRIC spring exhibition at Expocentre Fairgrounds. The exhibition will primarily be aimed at demonstrating the achievements of the domestic light industry in the field of technical textiles.
